OUR MINISTRIES
At Center Chapel of Marion, we believe that every member is an important part of the body of Christ. We are united in faith, and through the Holy Spirit, we have been baptized into one body. Our many ministries reflect our commitment to serving our members and the community. Whether you are a new believer or a seasoned Christian, we have something for everyone. Join us on our journey of faith!
Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry
Nursery - 5th Grade
Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry is focused on planting the seed of Christ in our children's hears. In doing this, we empahasize equipping them with God's Word so they can grow, know, and show God's love. "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good." 1 Peter 2:2-3

Seeds of Hope's purpose is to give our children the "tools" they will need to face the world around them as they grow. We want them to give their troubles to God, pray for others, turn away from doing wrong, stay in the Word, and serve God in how He leads them. "start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

Our goal is to build a strong foundation of faith, trust, and knowledge of our Heavenly Father in the hearts of our future parents and leaders. "Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger." Psalms 8:2
SWAT Youth Group
(Spiritual Warfare Assaul Team)
As a church, we understand the importance of community. Our Junior/Senior Youth Group is just one of the many ways we foster an environment of love and support for all ages. Our Monday evening gatherings are filled with time for fellowship, food and games, but more than that, they are a place where young people can grow in their faith and connect with others who share similar values. We believe that building strong relationships is essential to creating a thriving and healthy community, and our youth group is one way we make this a reality.

Join us at the church on Monday nights from 6 - 7:30 pm
Proverbs 27:17 Men's Group
Join us in a relaxed atmosphere as we grow together into "Kingdom Men" on Wednesdays at 6:30 in room #101. We will read a verse of Scripture and then discuss it. No homework preperation will be required! As "Kingdom Men" we do volunteer for those in need on a regular basis. Come be a part of building his Kingdom!

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17
Celebrate Recovery
We all struggle - issues could range from alcohol to anger, from worry to yokes of bondage. Many of us have hurts from the past or habits that won't let go. What are you struggling with? Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery group where all are welcome in seeking His destiny and His freedom. Join us at Center Chapel on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in room #102
"Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
"Serving the Word" at the Grant County Resue Mission
Center Chapel cooks and serves dinner and desserts to those in need at the Grant County Resue Mission on the 4th Sunday of every month at 5:00 pm. In Matthew 25:35 Jesus says, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."

Our vision for the Celebrate Recovery program is to build relationships with the men by serving both their physical and spiritual hunger. God has opened a door and by faith we are walking through. By feeding both hungers, we hope to be a part of their transformation.

The church van leaves the church at 3:00 pm for those interested in helping.
Open Hearts Women's Shelter Meal
We believe in giving back to our community. On the third Saturday of each month, we hold a special meal to serve women in need. This is just one of the many ways we demonstrate our love and support for those who need it most. Our doors are always open for those seeking guidance, comfort, and a sense of belonging. We believe that by sharing our love and faith, we can make a positive impact in the lives of those around us.
