Dear Church Family,

As we begin this stewardship campaign in our church, I stand in awe of our awesome God and praise Him for each of you.  What a blessing it is to be in a church who wants to love people like Jesus.  Because of your willingness to sacrifice and change to make room for new people, God has blessed this church. His blessings can be seen in the spiritual growth of His people here at Center Chapel.

I am excited to walk through this door God has opened; a door that will continue to enable our present ministries to grow, as well as seeing new ministries come to life from this Ministry Center.  We know that all things are possible with God.  (Matthew 19:26)

This campaign has a great theme, “Equal Sacrifice, Not Equal Gifts.”   This theme challenges us to do the extraordinary by giving sacrificially “over and above” our regular giving for the next 156 weeks. Because sacrifice is significant in God’s eyes, it reminds us that we can all have a significant part in the Lord’s work.

This campaign provides us the wonderful opportunity to allow God’s promises to take hold of our lives.  His promise, “Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over into your lap.” (Luke 6:38) is given to each of us!

Center Chapel, as I write this letter, I am about to come out of my seat, because the Holy Spirit is stirring us to go deeper.  To trust Him in ways we have not trusted Him before in our lives. He is stirring us to love Him with a deeper love and to love those He loves. God is preparing us to join Him in His work, to help people discover hope, transformation, and purpose. God is going to change the stories and lives of the people in our area. God Bless you for blessing me as your pastor.

Growing by God’s Faithfulness,

Pastor Mark Sanders
